    About

We are a group of friends and professionals who are committed to Bedouin communities. Together we have unparalleled local knowledge, along with decades of experience in research and development practice in South Sinai. We work on innovative projects which help local Bedu to access better opportunities and choices, and fulfil basic needs.

Our work is always collaborative, the result of local knowledge, practices and ideas coupled with high-quality academic research carried out by the experts on our team. We are a true partnership, and this makes our work very exciting.

We focus on interventions which are
    • Devised and led by Bedu

    • Collaborative

    • Research based

    • Environmentally friendly, and based on local norms and knowledge

    • Sustainable

    • Progressive, especially for women and deaf Bedu

    • Focused on long-term objectives

Although we are small, this approach makes our work very effective.
