How can I support the Foundation?

CFSS holds funds both in Egypt and the UK.

Community Foundation Network (the support organization for British community foundations, of which CFSS is an affiliate member) holds funds for CFSS in Britain, enabling British donors to support CFSS tax-effectively. Cheques made payable to Community Foundation Network (CFSS) should be sent to:

Community Foundation Network
Arena House
Pentonville Road
London N1 9HS

or contact Clare Brooks on 00 44 (0)20 7713 9326. UK taxpayers can add almost one third to the value of their gift at no extra cost to themselves by using the Gift Aid scheme.

In Egypt, cheques made out to the Community Foundation for South Sinai can be sent to the Foundation's office at Wadi Shrayj, Saint Katherine, South Sinai.

Achieving your aims through a named fund

We will be happy to discuss setting up a named fund for donors who wish to make a substantial investment in the future wellbeing of South Sinai and its people. Either as a one-off sum, or phased tax-effectively over up to five years, a named fund can help you commemorate a loved one who cared about Sinai, or to make a philanthropic investment in a particular aspect of Sinai life or culture: for example, education for women, community-based conservation, or health information outreach.

Talk to us!

Hilary Gilbert, Chair of CFSS, will be delighted to discuss your support for the Foundation or any queries you may have. Any member of the Board will be happy to talk to you at any time: please see Our Board for our contact details.
